In xmtp messages, there is a feature to send images/videos/audio with a file size of only about 1MB. The size should be larger. And when I tried using it, only videos were detected. Please check.

Media uploads in XMTP seem limited to ~1MB, which is too small. Also, only videos are detected — images and audio aren’t working. Please check.

If you want to send an image or video on xmtp, you’ll want to upload the file to an external hosting service and send a message linking to the file with the appropriate content type. If the recipient’s messenger supports that content type, it’ll recognize it and render the image or video linked in the message.

I agree, 1MB is too small. I hope team will upgrade for lager size.
