I think it’s a good idea for chats where a lot has been written to add the ability to search messages, so that I can find something that was written a long time ago.

Especially among groups, the ability to locate old chats using key words will definitely make XMTP interesting

This is possible to do on the client side - you just need to convince a client dev to add this - maybe petition someone on the base app team that this feature would be desirable
